Phoenix House

A specialist registered hospital Phoenix House, situated in Welshpool, Wales, focuses on treating complex and enduring mental health conditions in men and women who may, or may not, be detained under the Mental Health Act.

The service provides a person-centred approach that promotes the individual’s health, welfare and sense of worth.

We understand the real concept of rehabilitation, recovery and social inclusion, and our dedicated team supports these individuals along their care pathway.

Typically, a service user at Phoenix House is aged 18 to 65 with a primary diagnosis of mental disorder. Secondary conditions can include a mild learning disability, personality disorder and substance misuse issues.

Service users often have a history of challenging behaviour and complex needs. This may include forensic issues and individuals have often come into contact with criminal justice services.
