Bradley Woodlands hospital achieves low secure status
2009-10-30
Lighthouse Healthcare’s Bradley Woodlands hospital in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, has been awarded low secure status by the Care Quality Commission.
The decision by Lighthouse Healthcare to invest in upgrading its Healthlinc Individual Care facility to meet national low secure standards was made in response to the growing need for rehabilitation in a low secure environment for adults with intellectual disabilities and complex needs.
The facility is set in its own private grounds of almost five acres. It offers domestic style accommodation in a range of two to four bedroom apartments, with a selection of on-site facilities including many opportunities for outdoor activities.
Everyone living at Bradley Woodlands has the opportunity to develop personally. Our person-centred plans of care are based on the assessed needs of each individual and promote the principles of “an ordinary life”.
