Healthlinc selected for Valuing People funded project

2009-06-11

Healthlinc Individual Care is one of just two private sector providers chosen by the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) to take part in the Local Services for Local People – Engaging with the Private Sector Demonstration Project.

This new initiative is funded by the Department of Health’s Valuing People Team. It will involve Healthlinc working in partnership with Lincolnshire Social Services Directorate and aims to demonstrate how private sector organisations can become engaged with the Valuing People ‘local services’ agenda, by providing smaller, localised, person-centred services and helping to facilitate the move of people living away from their home area, back to their local community.

Healthlinc Individual Care, part of the Lighthouse Healthcare Group, currently operates two independent hospitals and a community facility in Lincolnshire. The company is committed to developing its services in line with Government guidelines to provide individualised programmes of support to people with learning disabilities, including those with particularly complex needs.

If you would like further information about the services provided by Healthlinc Individual Care or its involvement in the demonstration project, please contact
