From low secure hospitals through to community-based care homes, Lighthouse is able to offer individuals a structured route along their care pathway.
This help and support is dependent on a number of factors, including the environment they are living in. All of our hospitals are located in extensive grounds, affording privacy for our patients whilst still being close enough to local facilities which play an important part in the rehabilitation process.
Our facilities are situated in the middle of communities, with small groups of people living together and taking part in activities designed to develop their personal skills in areas such as literacy, numeracy, IT, budgeting and cooking.
All of our accommodation offers high quality domestic-style living suited to the needs and care plan of the individual e.g. shared apartments and self-contained cottages.
People are in our hospitals and care homes because they need assistance with certain aspects of their lives. We give everyone the opportunity to develop by getting involved in activities that can improve their health, wellbeing, personal and social skills, such as further education, work placements, exercise and leisure.
